Tony Barlage is the Program Director for the Rocky Mountain Region based in Spirit Environmental’s Denver, Colorado office. Tony brings with him over 12 years of experience in environmental consulting and has a background in providing comprehensive services to a diverse group of industries and market sectors. Tony directly oversees air quality permitting and compliance services that Spirit provides to partners nationally.
Tony’s knowledge and experience has resulted in Spirit expanding its air quality related field services, which now include LDAR (Method 21 and FLIR/optical gas imaging), visible emissions monitoring (Methods 9 and 22), pressurized hydrocarbon sampling, fugitive component counts, and equipment verifications.
In addition to directing a regional program for Spirit, Tony is the air quality consultant for the Colorado Oil & Gas Association (COGA), a position he has held for the past four years. COGA is an influential trade group consisting of industry professionals, legal experts, and environmental consultants. Through COGA, Tony facilitates monthly air committee meetings and regularly meets with the state agency to assist with rulemaking and the development of new policies and procedures related to the oil and gas industry in Colorado.

Erin Drake is Spirit’s Cultural & Natural Resources Program Manager. Erin is a Secretary of the Interior-qualified archaeologist with over 15 years of experience. Erin provides Cultural & Natural Resources and environmental planning services for projects that must comply with NEPA, Section 7 of the ESA, Section 404 of the CWA, and Sections 106 and 110 of the NHPA.
Working for both public and private sectors, Erin brings extensive experience conducting agency and tribal consultation, NRHP evaluations, artifact analysis, curation, and technical writing. Erin also has proven experience in critical habitat reviews, wetlands permitting procedures, NEPA compliance documentation and environmental constraints analyses, as well as Phase I Environmental Site Assessments. Erin has a BA from the University of Georgia and an MA from Georgia State University in Anthropology, with foci in archaeology and historic preservation.
