TCEQ to Consider Cutting State Regs

(Houston) – April 12, 2017

Yesterday a Petition for Rulemaking was filed with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to simplify environmental regulatory burdens to the State of Texas and its citizens.  EPA and President Trump are pursuing a similar course of action at the Federal level.  “If EPA can do better, we can do better”, said the petitioner Jed Anderson.  The Commission has 60 days to respond.  The likely Commissioner’s agenda date for consideration is June 7th.
